Julie Honegger started teaching at Anderson Valley High School in 2005. She particularly enjoys teaching students how to write. Imperialism, the Russian Revolution, and the Cold War are some of her favorite history topics. She hopes that all students who have her as a teacher through their senior year do the following things: 1) vote, even in primary elections and on minor ballot initiatives, 2) stay out of credit card debt and avoid excessive student debt, and 3) impress their college professors with their amazing writing skills. Julie grew up in Lafayette, California and attended Acalanes High School. She went to Carleton College and graduated with a degree in International Relations. She received her teaching credential from Mills College and a Masters in Education from Walden University. |
